- bid用作名詞的基本意思是“企圖,努力”,引申可作“喊價(jià),出價(jià),投標(biāo)”解,常與介詞for連用。有時(shí)可接動(dòng)詞不定式作定語。
- bid作“出價(jià),投標(biāo)”解時(shí),既可用作及物動(dòng)詞,也可用作不及物動(dòng)詞,其后常接介詞for,其過去式和過去分詞均同于原形bid; 作“命令; 吩咐”“說問候話”解時(shí),是及物動(dòng)詞,其過去式可以是bade或bid,過去分詞則為bidden或bid, bidden過去經(jīng)常使用,現(xiàn)在則主要用在故事里。
