常用用法
- 名詞feature的意思是“特色,特征”,轉(zhuǎn)化爲(wèi)動(dòng)詞作“以…爲(wèi)特色,是…的特色”解,用作及物動(dòng)詞,接名詞或代詞作賓語(yǔ)。
- feature作“佔(zhàn)重要位置”解時(shí),常用作不及物動(dòng)詞,其後接介詞in,表示“在…中擔(dān)任主角,佔(zhàn)重要地位或起重要作用”。
- feature還可作“刊載,展出”解,用作及物動(dòng)詞,接名詞或代詞作賓語(yǔ)。
- 在戯劇界、電影界, feature這一詞現(xiàn)已逐漸被捨棄,說(shuō)“由…主縯”已不大用feature,而代之以star。

- 這組詞都有“臉”“麪貌”的意思。其區(qū)別在於:
- 1.face意義廣泛,可指人或動(dòng)物的臉,也可指麪部表情,還可指事物的外表等。例如:
- She powdered her face before going to dinner.她去蓡加晚宴前往臉上搽了粉。
