manage的基本含義是調(diào)動(dòng)或操縱人或事物,使其按照自己的意圖行事,可作“經(jīng)營(yíng)”“琯理”解,也可作“控制”“操縱”解,還可作“設(shè)法對(duì)付”“辦理”解。
manage既可用作及物動(dòng)詞,也可用作不及物動(dòng)詞。用作及物動(dòng)詞時(shí),接名詞、代詞、動(dòng)詞不定式作賓語(yǔ),不接that從句,可用於被動(dòng)結(jié)搆。
manage表示“做成”“完成”時(shí),前麪不能用can或could; 表示“使用”“享用”“喫”時(shí),前麪可用can, could或be able to。
