在英式英語(yǔ)中儅主語(yǔ)是“第二〔第三〕人稱+I〔we〕”時(shí)也多使用will。
- will作“將(財(cái)産)遺贈(zèng)某人”解時(shí),可接that引導(dǎo)的從句作賓語(yǔ),從句的謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞要用虛擬式,也可接雙賓語(yǔ),其間接賓語(yǔ)可轉(zhuǎn)化成介詞to的賓語(yǔ)。
- will屬於表動(dòng)詞語(yǔ)態(tài)的助動(dòng)詞,類似於may,might等,沒(méi)有wills這一動(dòng)詞的單數(shù)形式的說(shuō)法;
- Shall同will的比較:通常,人們習(xí)慣將should儅做shall,而將would儅做will。 I shall be twenty next Sunday. I shall tell you this evening. Shall I be too old to work at eighty? You shall never see her again. I will work hard.Shall you be away for long? Shall you ...Will we …?You will be better tomorrow. It will be fine very soon.You will send in your report on Thursday. All the members will send in their reports on Thursday.Whatever you may say, things of this kind will go on.Will you tell me more about him?You will sit here for hours saying nothing.
